Pool Technician
Job Title:
Pool Technician
Job Purpose:
A Pool Technician is responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining pools and hot tubs. They may also install and repair pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, and heaters. Technician must be knowledgeable about pool equipment, chemicals, and safety regulations. They must also be able to communicate effectively, work with customers to ensure their satisfaction, and work well with our team to ensure the best possible outcome in any given situation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Service work: Technicians will be expected to repair and install Heaters, Pumps, Filters, Salt Systems, Safety Covers, Lights, Cleaners, Automation and Programming, Open and Close pools and spas, and Maintain Chemistry balance in Pools and Spas.
- Maintain vehicle: Organizing truck, keeping it clean and workable, scheduling and monitoring routine maintenance on work vehicle(oil change, tire rotation, brake pads etc.). Maintaining proper inventory on truck to perform expected jobs on schedule. Speeding, Reckless driving etc. Will result in corrective action or termination.
- Communication: Technicians will have a work email and Routing software to maintain a daily schedule. Technician will be responsible for managing his route by adding technical information, pictures, and any other notes. Tech will be expected to communicate with fellow team members, supervisors and customers in a professional manner.
Training: There will be Training courses every year as well as in field training conducted by owners or supervisors. Technician is expected to actively participate and show effort in growing there knowledge in the pool industry. These Training courses will be mandatory and will be instrumental in our employees growth with the company.
Uniform: Technicians must be in uniform at all time (shirts and hoodies will be provided) . Accurate shirt or hoodie with brown Kaki pants or shorts with a belt.
Skills and Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs Minimum
- Must have an active drivers license and means of transportation
- Pass a Background check
- Pass Drug Screening if required
- Must have prior pool experience in equipment installation/repairs, openings, closings, Pool and spa Maintenance and general pool knowledge.
- Must be able to operate handheld power tools
- Must maintain a clean professional appearance at work. Facial hair is allowed just must be presentable.
- Must be able to speak English
- Have a positive attitude and be service minded. Customer service is the backbone of our company.
- Possess a solid work ethic and have a high standard for yourself and respect for others
- Have the ability to self-direct and self-monitor Quality of work performed.
- Present yourself well, be capable of interacting with customers and staff via verbal and written correspondents.

Benefits and Compensation:
- Salary positions available starting at $60,000.
- Salary positions in winter may be subject to some construction work due to the lack of service work at this time. Construction entails building and rehabbing Concrete and liner pools, Installation of new pools and more.
- Hourly positions starting at $25 per hour
(Technicians normal yearly schedule here would be roughly 8 months of work with 30-60 hrs a week during season (April to December). Off season would be roughly 4 months with 0-20 hrs a week during the off season (December to March). - Paid time off- Vacation, sick and personal time.

Pool Technicians Assistant
Pool Technician Assistant
Job Purpose:
A Pool Technician Assistants are an important asset to our company. They are the right-hand man for the Technicians on the job site. Many of our jobs require multiple people to give our customers the best service possible in a timely fashion. Being a Pool Tech assistant can be the first step in a long-term career in the Pool Service industry with Accurate Pool and Landscape.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Help maintain clean and organized vehicle.
Assistant will be paired with a technician for all service work and aid in the completion of these jobs.
Service work:
- Pool opening and closings.
- Cleaning and maintenance of pool and spas
- Equipment repair and installation
- Safety cover installation
- Plumbing
- Plaster Cure
- Tech Assistants must be in uniform at all time (shirts and hoodies will be provided) .
- Accurate shirt or hoodie with brown Khaki pants or shorts with a belt.

Pool Tech assistants are needed for summer work, normally from April to December. Depending on performance and evaluation during work period there can be opportunities for this to be more of a full-time position. Maintenance Technician
The purpose of a Pool Maintenance Technician is to provide timely and professional maintenance and cleaning services for residential and commercial pools & spas, ensuring that the pool is kept in a safe, clean, and attractive condition at all times. This includes installing, repairing, and maintaining pool equipment, cleaning pool filters, and surfaces, testing pool water and adding the necessary chemicals, cleaning and vacuuming the pool, and performing other related maintenance and repair duties as needed. The Pool Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for inspecting and troubleshooting any pool-related issues, keeping detailed records of all work performed, and providing excellent customer service and advice to customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
In this role, you will be responsible for performing regular pool maintenance, including cleaning and chemical balancing, to ensure the pool is safe and inviting for our customers. You will also be responsible for minor repairs and maintenance of pool equipment, such as pumps and filters.
Skills and Requirements:
- Clean and maintain pools & spas, including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and backwashing
- Test and properly adjust chemicals to maintain proper balance using the Orenda App
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance of pool equipment, such as pumps, filters & salt systems Track and record chemical readings and maintenance logs
- Assist with customer inquiries and provide customer service
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Follow all safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with pool maintenance
- Knowledge of pool equipment and maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Pool Construction
The purpose of a pool construction employee is to construct and maintain swimming pools and other related equipment in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner. This includes excavation, installation of equipment, concrete work, tile work, plumbing, and electrical installation. They are also responsible for checking and maintaining safety compliance with local building codes and regulations. Other duties may include customer service, scheduling, and maintenance of the pool area.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Gather tools, materials, and supplies needed for pool construction projects.
- Read blueprints to determine appropriate layout and design of pools.
- Excavate and level the ground to ensure a solid foundation for the pool.
- Install plumbing and electrical components as required.
- Construct walls, floors, and steps using rebar, gunite and other materials.
- Install pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters.
- Install pool liners, coping, stone and tile.
- Perform routine maintenance on pool equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair any pool-related problems.
- Keep accurate records of all pool construction projects.
- Comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
